Here the player is told the guest is looking for a dish with meat in it. After searching through the recipe book, the player selects a noodle soup.
After saying the command "go to the fridge," they start gathering ingredients by saying phrases like "take out the carrot."
The player gives commands like "turn on the stove" and "put the tomatoes" in the pan, trying to cook each ingredient for the precise amount of time specified in the recipe.
The dinner guest gives feedback on the player's performance.

You're helping your sister prepare for a birthday party and need to cook meals for guests. The guests have very particular dietary recipe so you have to carefully prepare a meal that fits their needs.

Form sentences to direct your character around the kitchen by constructing sentences in the sentence construction panel found in the lower right corner of the screen. Orange buttons indicate words or phrases availible for the current point in the sentence you are constructing. As you click the orange buttons, new options will appear showing the possible options for completing your sentence. 

After selecting a recipe that fits the requirements of the guest, gather ingredients from either the fridge or the shelf. Cut and prepare any ingredients at the table. Then go either than stove or oven and finish preparing your dish, then serve it to the guest and get their feedback.          

To practice speaking, simply leave the mouse cursor over the microphone icon and say any of the words on the orange buttons.
